We were contacted by this seller in Lake Barrington Shores because we were recommended to her by a close friend. She had already made arrangements for her new living situation and we could see how we would be able to provide the most assistance possible. This involved re-homing most of her belongings and choosing which of her wonderful pieces to use in the staging. We were able to find buyers for a good amount of her furniture, art and accessories. And then we used her fabulous pieces for staging. We love how it turned out and it really showed off the home. We followed through on our pre-marketing plan and executed our customized launch with the goal of driving the most amount of potential buyers to the property as possible. We represented the buyer on this one. She was referred to us by a fellow Compass agent in Northern California who saw us on an interview for 6AMERS. Seeing us in the interview she felt that we'd be a great fit for her daughter's best friend. So we talked and kept in touch and when her daughter's best friend was ready to buy something, she reached out to us. It was so wonderful working with her. She originally was going to buy an apartment for herself, but then decided to look into purchasing a multi-unit for the investment. My mom always says, "If possible, put your house to work for you." And this was the perfect example. Our client Milo knew she wanted to be in an area where it would always be easy to find renters. And it didn't take us long at all to find her dream... located two blocks North of Wrigley Field on a quiet block of Kenmore. Milo knew what she wanted and this was it. It wasn't perfect and easy from there. This is an old house and it needed some things. A lot came up on the property inspection. Throughout the transaction we worked hard to make sure Milo got what she needed to feel great about her investment. She was so solid throughout the entire process. First time buyers don't normally think about buying multi-units, but if you can swing it, it's a very smart move.

Their goal was to downsize and sell without much disruption to their lives in the process while also helping them find a smaller place to live that had a main floor primary bedroom. With inventory being so low, we had our work cut out for us to be able to find them the ideal property within a timeline that would work for them. The solution we brought them was to find buyers for their home who would be willing to lease the home back to them for a window of time while we found them a new home. Implementing our Lake Barrington Shores customized marketing/launch plan, we generated so much interest we were able to sell their home while it was still on the Private Listing Network. The buyers agreed to lease-back the home while they looked for a new one. With ranch homes at a premium and few and far between, we had to think outside the box. We researched ranch homes and homes with first floor primary bedrooms in the area and sent out a targeted mailing campaign.
